Down-Light Solution Kit #1

Ready for your electrician to install. 240Volt GU10 down-light fitting (white) with a Megaman 11Watt warm CFL down-light lamp.

Use this to directly replace your fixed low voltage halogen down-lights or fit it into the skirt of gimballed low voltage halogen down-lights to eliminate the draught from the gimballed fitting.

Your electrician can simply take your existing gimballed fitting out, unscrew the hinged lamp holder and discard the lamp holder and transformer. The GU10 fixed down-light fitting is then inserted through the skirt and both the fitting and the skirt are fitted back in the existing ceiling hole.

Use just 11 watts instead of over 50.
Eliminate fire risk from halogen lamps.
Insulate your ceiling properly.

Please note that a 25mm uninsulated space must be maintained around down-lights in accordance with Australiian Standard AS3999 Section 4.2(e).
